Our skin is a big reflection of what we eat. A teenagers skin tends to get more more pimples because their hormones are already producing extra oils and if their eating those unhealthy fats, the extra will protrude unto the skin. I personally have gone through acne and it took me about four years but I learned what was harming and helping my skin.
Those are my most promising tips. If I remember or learn of any more I'd be sure to share :)

- Avoid dairy. Not all people react to dairy the same way but if you notice marks on your cheak or side of face then it's most likely from dairy. You can always avoid it for a while to see what the outcome will be for you.
- Avoid an unhealthy diet. You may have heard this or wasn't sure if it really was foods or just hormones, but like I said above, your skin is a reflection of what you eat. Eating lots of unhelathy oils and fats will show on your skin.
- Drink lots of water. I have seen how my skin cleared from marks and scars after dedicating to drinking at least 8 cups of water a day
- Drink green tea everyday. Green tea is full of antioxidants and is amazing for clearing your skin.
- Avoid face washes with too many chemicals. An all natural soap will be much better for you in the long run. (please don't think if you feel a tingling or burning it's working. It's actually burning your skin). Some of the more natural and organic face washes may be more expensive but think of it as an investment for your face.
- Be consistent to washing your face. If you do it enough times, you'll begin to find it hard to go to sleep in peace without washing your face.
- Do a face mask every now and then. I have experimented with many different homemade masks from honey and lemon to turmeric to cinnamon and so much more. I'll probably put up another post sharing my favorite ones but for now I'm a big fan of the AZTEC SECRET Calcium Bentonite Clay.
- Make sure to exfoliate! Instead of packing on moisturizers, try exfoliating. It softens the skin and gets rid of all the dirt and dead skin cells on the surface.
Those are my most promising tips. If I remember or learn of any more I'd be sure to share :)
