It probably sounds unhealthy.. and it kinda is... But only because it can pull you into an endless hole of procrastination. Other than that, Tumblr has been my biggest source of inspiration. In case you're not sure what Tumblr is, it's pretty much a blog but in pictures. Of course it depends on which blogs you follow. I tend to follow ones of luxury, study, fitness, nature and food. But here's why I get inspired.
We all daydream of what we want our future to be like. While daydreaming can possibly inspire you to work towards your goals, it's a lot more inspiring to actually see pictures of it. Whenever I'm feeling down, or in that horrible mood where I feel like my future will be pointless, going on Tumblr always up lifts my mood because my dashboard is always fulled with things of positivity, beauty, and success and it reminds me that there IS a reason to not give up. Again, it really depends on which blogs you follow but it's usually easy finding the ones you want. I post or re blog pictures to remind my self of what can be mine in the future if I work hard enough; luxury and nature and traveling, etc. Personally, this is the kind of mindset I have developed for Tumblr. I'm pretty sure everyone else has a different use of it. I've seen and learned a lot through Tumblr and through it set myself an image and definition of success. Try it out. It might be for you too :)
